CNASA Logo

The Australian Shepherd – or Aussie, to enthusiasts – is a versatile breed that can do it all: compete in conformation, herding, obedience, or agility; perform therapy, service work, and search and rescue; and win hearts as a cherished family companion.

Whatever your area of interest, we hope that you’ll think of our site as the go-to place for the latest information about the breed standard, health testing and genetic research, and upcoming events. Our website will also showcase Canada’s top producing and top performance Australian Shepherds, as well as each year’s Top Dogs.

CNASA does not support the purposeful breeding of Miniature Australian Shepherds or Toy Australian Shepherds.  There is no size variation of the Australian Shepherd. CNASA expects all members to be ever vigilant in the preservation and protection of the Australian Shepherd and recognize and breed to the CKC Breed Standard of Excellence.
